Goodreads Backup - With a Web App

I recently created a Python script to backup my Goodreads shelves.

I have now created a little web app to let anyone backup their Goodreads shelves using a quite simple web interface.


.NET Core for your Web API's?

I got the opportunity to speak at a local .NET meetup group recently, and I figured that as the .NET n00b that I am, it would be a great learning experience on many levels.

The premise of the talk was to find out if .NET Core could be a good solution for creating Web API’s for the modern web stack. More precisely, could ASP.NET Core be used just as easily as for instance Node to create RESTful API’s?

New Mini Project - Goodreads Backup

I have just started a small project which I wanted to share with you. I also hope to get some feedback or ideas.

The idea for this project started when I noticed that the counter on my Goodreads account was off. It was missing a book. I went through the list, and all my books were there, but the counter was wrong.

So these guys are having all my data, eh?
